In the Japanese JIS standard, cold-rolled carbon sheets have several grades such as SPCC, SPCD, and SPCE. The latter two represent cold-rolled carbon sheets for stamping and deep drawing, which are respectively equivalent to 08AL high-quality carbon in my country's 13237 standard. Structural steel and 08AL deep drawing steel in 5213 standard. SPCC means that cold-rolled carbon sheets are generally used, which is equivalent to my country's Q195-Q215A. There is no stamping test and the tensile test must be ensured. Add T after the grade to indicate SPCC-T or SPCCT.
In some cases, the SPCC grade needs to be marked with its tempering code and surface processing code in detail. Among them, the quenching and tempering codes are: A - annealed state; S - standard quenching and tempering; 8 - 1/8 hard; 4 - 1/4 hard; 2 - 1/2 hard; 1 - hard. The surface processing codes are: D - Matt finish rolling; B - Bright finish rolling. For example, SPCC-SD means standard quenched and tempered, matte finish-rolled cold-rolled carbon sheets, SPCCT-SB means standard quenched and tempered, bright-finished, cold-rolled carbon sheets that require guaranteed mechanical properties, etc.
To sum up, the main performance feature of SPCC-1D is hardness. It can be said that it is special-purpose steel, for example, used for security doors, etc. Because, in the mainstream consumer market, the main performance requirements for cold-rolled products tend to be soft and have good plasticity. Generally speaking, the more material steel can meet the demand, the more expensive it is. For example, deep drawing products are more expensive than ordinary products. Therefore, the "hard coil" made of SPCC-1D material has a relatively narrow application range. If the seller does not specify For customers, it will be difficult to sell such products, and usually the price is cheaper than SPCC-SD material.
