Introduction To Common Cold Rolled Sheet

Jan 18, 2024

Cold-rolled sheet is a new type of product made by further cold pressing of hot-rolled sheet. Because it has undergone many cold rolling processes, its surface quality is better than that of hot rolled sheet. After heat treatment, its mechanical properties have also been significantly improved.

Purpose classification of common cold rolled sheet
According to the different requirements of each production enterprise, cold-rolled sheet is often divided into several levels. Among them, the general use of cold rolled plate, stamping grade cold rolled plate, deep drawing grade, extra deep drawing grade and super deep drawing grade cold rolled plate is to meet different industrial needs. These cold-rolled sheets are delivered as rolls or plates, and their thickness is usually expressed in millimeters. In terms of width, it is generally 1000 mm and 1250 mm, while the length is usually 2000 mm and 2500 mm. These cold-rolled sheets not only have excellent formability and good surface quality, but also have excellent performance in corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance and beauty. Therefore, they are widely used in automotive, construction, home appliances, industrial equipment and other fields.
