Electro galvanized steel sheet SECC
1. SECC is a stamping material, which is a zinc layer coated on the surface of cold-rolled plates. It is resistant to fingerprints, has excellent corrosion resistance, and maintains the processability of cold-rolled plates. Rust-proof and corrosion-resistant, the price is relatively high.

2. The coating thickness is usually (single side) thickness: 1.4μ, 4.2μ, 7.0μ. The general plate thickness is 0.4~3.2mm.
3. Applicable grades of Japanese electro-galvanized steel sheets:
SECC (original plate SPCC), SECD (original plate SPCD), SECE (original plate SPCE), SPCC is the abbreviation of cold rolled plate, Steel Plate Cold rolled Commercial, it has two types: SPCC-SB (commonly called golden plate) and SPCC-SD Types: S----Standard Skin Pass standard conditioning treatment, B---Bright (glossy), D---Dull (matte).

4. Can be divided into ordinary electrolytic plates and fingerprint-resistant electrolytic plates:
Ordinary electrolytic plates are divided into phosphating plates and passivation plates. Phosphating is more commonly used, and the grade is SECC-P, commonly known as p material. The passivation plate can be oiled or unoiled;
The fingerprint-resistant board is based on the ordinary electrolytic board and adds a fingerprint-resistant treatment, which can resist sweat. It is generally used on parts that do not undergo any treatment. The grade is SECC-N.
5. After SECC welding and polishing, it can be treated with phosphating film to prevent rust: degreasing (HCL) for 8 minutes---washing--neutralizing for 2 minutes-------washing--phosphating Film 3 minutes----wash----dry.
5. IBM requires steel to generally meet three conditions:
RoHS compliant;
Passed 72 hours salt spray test;
The surface resistance of the 25.4mm pitch is less than 1 milli-ohm, otherwise the EMC test will fail.
6.Usage: Home appliances, computer cases and some door panels and panels.
7.Instructions:
a.Zinc layer code: E8, E16, E24, E32
b. Symbol: S - Steel (Steel) E - Electrodeposition (Electrodeposition) C - Cold Rolled (Cold) Cold Rolled C - Common Grade (common) D - Stamping Grade (Draw) Stamping Grade (Stamping Grade) E - Deep Drawing Grade (Elongation).
c. Zinc electroplated zinc layer: E - electroplated zinc layer. 8, 16, 24, and 32 represent the zinc adhesion amount in g/m2.
d. Surface treatment code:
C - Chromic acid treatment surface treatment code
O - Oiled
P - Phosphoric acid treatment
S - Chromic acid treatment + oiling
Q - Phosphoric acid treatment + oiling, M - No treatment.
8. Distinguish:
SPCC looks very dark, while SPCC-SB is very bright, so it is called golden plate;
Most of SGCC are bright, with small zinc flowers. In fact, it is difficult to see the zinc flowers. With large zinc flowers, you can clearly see the hexagonal flower blocks;
The color of SGLC is similar to that of SGCC, but it has obvious small spots, which is very beautiful;
SALD is similar to SGCC, but it feels brighter and sometimes difficult to distinguish;
SECC is the easiest to distinguish among these, it is that gray color that is easily distinguished from all four above;
SECC and SGCC, the old stations are called EG and GI materials respectively. EG forms a zinc layer through electroplating, and GI immerses the steel plate in molten zinc to form a zinc layer. Therefore, the galvanizing effect of EG is much better than that of GI, and the processability is also better.
The size of the zinc spangle and the thickness of the zinc layer can indicate the quality of the galvanizing. The smaller (to ZERO SPANGLE) the thicker the better. Of course, don't forget to ask the manufacturer to add fingerprint resistance.
