a. when there is no significant yield, RP0.2 should be used; otherwise ReL should be used. When the thickness is more than 0.50mm and not more than 0.70mm, the specified value of the yield strength is allowed to increase 20MPa; when the thickness is not more than 0.50mm, the specified value of the yield strength is allowed to increase 40MPa.
b. The sample is the P6 sample in GB/T 228 and the sample direction is transverse.
c. The requirement of r90 and n90 values apply only to products with the thickness not less than 0.50mm. When the the thickness is more than 2.00mm, the value of r90 is allowed to lower 0.2.

Measurement Service

Gnee Steel can provide the following measurement services for galvanized steel products:

Coating Thickness: Measurement of the thickness of the zinc coating on the galvanized steel surface. This is crucial for ensuring that the steel has an adequate protective layer.

Dimensions: Checking and documenting the dimensions of the galvanized steel, including length, width, and thickness of the steel itself.

Weight: Determining the weight of the galvanized steel, which may include both the steel and the zinc coating. This is often measured in pounds or kilograms.

Surface Inspection: Examining the surface quality of the galvanized steel for any defects, imperfections, or irregularities.

Adherence to Standards: Verifying whether the galvanized steel meets specific industry or international standards for quality and performance.

Corrosion Resistance Testing: Assessing the corrosion resistance of the galvanized steel, which is a key property of the zinc coating.
