DX51D is a series of hot-dip galvanized products. The 51D level includes 4 grades, namely:
DX51D+Z galvanized
DX51D+ZF galvanized iron
DX51D+ZA galvanized aluminum
DX51D+AZ galvanized
GNEE produces various models of hot-dip galvanized steel coils, one of which is DX51D Z100. To learn more, contact us!
What is DX51D Z100 galvanized steel coil?
DX51D Z100 steel is very flexible. It is used for complex solid dispersions and complies with BS EN 10346:2015.
The chemical composition of DX51D is carbon (C) ≤ 0.18%, silicon (Si) ≤ 0.50%, manganese (Mn) ≤ 1.20%, phosphorus (P) ≤ 0.12%, sulfur (S) ≤ 0.045%. In terms of mechanical properties, the tensile strength is 270 ~ 500 MPag, and the minimum elongation is 22%. The steel number is 1.0917.
DX51D steel coils are produced in 950 to 1250mm wide coils and 0.4 to 1.6 mm thick. The inner diameter of the coil is 600mm and the outer diameter can be up to 1300mm. The maximum weight of the coil is 8 tons. Provide cutting edges on the coil (milled edges are also possible).
DX51D steel coils are widely used in various steel products such as roofs, window profiles, drainage and ventilation systems, road guardrails, bridges, and home appliances.

What does Z100 mean?
Z100 represents the weight of the zinc coating on the coated steel coil. The unit is grams of zinc or aluminum per square meter/zinc (g/m2).
Each coating has a predetermined thickness and is tailored for the specific application. The Z100 has the thinnest coverage at 7 microns and is designed for indoor use. The minimum total coating mass for both steels is 100g/m2.
Continuous hot-dip galvanizing provides a broad spectrum of protection from Z100 to Z600 and creates a strong bond between the coating and the steel. Due to its properties, zinc coating is ideally suited for molding and demanding corrosive environments.
