Cold rolled steel
What is Cold rolled steel?
Cold rolled steel is a precision-processed steel product manufactured by further reducing the thickness of hot rolled steel through cold reduction at room temperature, followed by annealing and temper rolling. This process enhances the steel's surface quality, mechanical properties and dimensional accuracy, resulting in a smooth appearance, superior flatness and excellent forming performance. Cold rolled steel is widely used in applications that require high-quality surfaces and tight tolerances such as automotive components, household appliances, electrical cabinets, metal furniture and deep-drawing parts.

Within cold rolled steel classifications, the DC series represents standardized grades with different forming properties to meet various production needs. DC01 is designed for general forming applications, while DC03 and DC04 offer improved deep-drawing performance for more complex stamping processes. DC05 and DC06 provide extra-deep drawing capability with excellent elongation and low yield strength, ideal for intricate shapes and demanding deformation conditions. DC07 is a premium ultra-deep drawing grade used for extreme forming requirements in high-end manufacturing.
By selecting the appropriate cold rolled steel grade-DC01, DC03, DC04, DC05, DC06 or DC07-manufacturers can ensure better product consistency, higher production efficiency and reduced risk of cracking during forming. With outstanding mechanical stability, low surface roughness and precise thickness control, cold rolled steel continues to be a preferred material solution across industries where strength, precision and surface finish are essential.
