DC52D+ZM refers to cold-rolled substrate, drawing grade, hot-dip zinc-magnesium alloy coated steel sheet, normally complied with GB/T 2518 and Q/BQB 420 standards.

 

  • D: Flat steel for cold forming.
  • C: Cold rolled substrate.
  • 52: Steel grade index, representing drawing quality grade with better formability than DC51D.
  • D: Code for hot-dip coating.
  • +ZM: Hot-dip zinc-magnesium alloy coating (Zn-Mg). The coating contains about 1.0–2.0% magnesium and 0.8–3.0% aluminum, providing much higher corrosion resistance than conventional pure zinc coating (+Z).
