Large-diameter seamless steel pipe is a kind of seamless steel pipe, including hot-rolled large-diameter seamless steel pipe and heat-enlarged diameter seamless steel pipe.
China's large-diameter seamless steel pipes are mainly produced using hot-rolled large-diameter seamless steel pipes and heat-expanded seamless steel pipes. The maximum specifications of heat-expanded seamless steel pipes are 325mm-1220mm and the maximum thickness is 200mm. Thermal-expanded seamless steel pipes can produce non-woven fabrics. The size of the national standard, thermal expansion seamless pipe is often referred to as thermal expansion, a rough pipe finishing process in which steel pipes with relatively low density but strong shrinkage are enlarged by cross-rolling or drawing methods to expand the diameter of the pipe. Thickening steel pipes in a short period of time can produce non-standard and special types of seamless pipes with low cost and high production efficiency. This is the development trend in the field of international pipe rolling.
GB5310 (seamless steel pipe for high-pressure boilers) stipulates that steel pipes with an outer diameter greater than or equal to 76mm and a wall thickness ≥14mm should be subjected to a Charpy V-type longitudinal impact test at 20°C; the average impact energy of the three samples should not be low At 40J, the impact energy of a sample is allowed to be lower than the average value, but not lower than 70% of the average value. For steel pipes with an outer diameter greater than 219.1mm and a wall thickness ≥25mm, transverse mechanical property tests can be used instead of longitudinal mechanical property tests. Carry out Charpy V-type lateral impact test at 20°C. It is more convenient to conduct lateral mechanical property test on large-diameter pipes.
