Prepainted galvalume steel coil combines durability, excellent heat resistance, and formability of aluminum, and those of zinc that offer high heat resistance and excellent corrosion protection, to form into this kind of dense crystalline quaternary alloy coated steel.The surface of the galvalume steel sheet is characterized by smooth, flat and gorgeous stars, and its base color is silver white.
The difference between galvanized layer and aluminum-zinc layer:
Both galvanized and aluminum-zinc coatings are used to protect metals from rust to extend their service life. For galvanized sheets, when the galvanized layer is completely corroded, the base material will be damaged. Generally speaking, the service life of galvanized sheets can reach 10 to 15 years. Aluminum and zinc alloys form microscopic grain regions. The zinc-rich phase corrodes preferentially, while the aluminum-rich phase corrodes very slowly.
