The structural steel (non-alloy high-grade steel) S220GD is deliverable with following hot-dip coatings:
S220GD+Z (coating Zn), S220GD+ZF (coating Zn-Fe), S220GD+ZA (coating Zn-Al), S220GD+AZ (coating Al-Zn).
The coating mass for Z amounts to 100, 140, 200, (225), 275, 350*, (450)* and (600)* g/m², for ZF to 100 and 140** g/m², for ZA to 95, 130, 185, 200, 255 and 300* g/m², for AZ it amounts to 100, 150 and 185 g/m². The parenthesis values are deliverable after arrangement the values are in each case both side minimum values (three-faced specimen). The * marked values are not deliverable for the surface types B and C and the ** marked values are not deliverable for the surface type C (see also DIN EN 10326).

1) Where yield strength is defined, the values apply to the upper yield strength ReH.
2) For all steel types, with the exception of S550GD, a span of 140 MPa can be expected for the tensile strength.
3) Depending on the product thickness, the minimum values of elongation at fracture are reduced as follows: 0.50 mm < t < 0.70 mm (minus 2 units), 0.35 mm < t < 0.50 mm (minus 4 units), and t < 0.35 mm (minus 7 units).
