Hot-dip Galvanized Steel Sheet：
H260YD+Z is a hot-dip galvanized ultra-low carbon high-strength steel.
H indicates that it is a high-strength interstitial-free (IF) steel, and 260YD indicates that the minimum yield strength is 260 MPa.
H260YD grade is designed for high strength applications. +Z indicates that the steel plate has been hot-dip galvanized. During this process, the steel sheet is immersed in a bath of molten zinc, forming a zinc layer on its surface. The zinc coating provides excellent corrosion resistance and protects the underlying steel from oxidation and other forms of deterioration.
H260YD+Z hot-dip galvanized sheet is commonly used in industries and applications that require high strength and corrosion resistance, and is suitable for automotive manufacturing, construction, industrial equipment, and other structural and load-bearing applications.
Galvanized layer of H260YD+Z:
1 Pure zinc coating
A coating composed of pure zinc produced on a hot-dip galvanizing production line (the zinc content in the zinc bath is not less than 97%).
2 Zinc-iron alloy coating
The zinc-iron alloy layer produced on the hot-dip galvanizing production line is formed on the entire coating through alloying treatment. The iron content in the coating is 7 to 15%.
3 Phosphorus-added high-strength steel
In low carbon steel or ultra-low carbon steel, the strength is improved by adding a certain amount of solid solution strengthening elements such as phosphorus and manganese. At the same time, this steel has good formability.
4 Bake-hardened high-strength steel
A certain amount of solid solution carbon atoms is retained in low carbon steel or ultra-low carbon steel. If necessary, the strength can be improved by adding solid solution strengthening elements such as phosphorus. After the steel plate is formed, its strength will be further improved by painting and baking. This steel plate also has better formability.
